Caring for a loved one with dementia is hard – we see you.

In 2020, more than half a million Canadians were living with dementia; that number is even greater now. The journey is challenging not only for those diagnosed but also for their families and communities who care for them … like you.

It’s natural to feel overwhelmed, and you’re not alone. According to the Alzheimer’s Society, “87% of dementia caregivers wish that more people understood the realities of caring for someone with dementia.” We want to provide a safe space for you to receive support and encouragement as you navigate this challenging and necessary support role.

This once-a-month group offers Christian encouragement, refreshment, prayer, resourcing, and networking. You’re invited to connect with others at FAC who are experiencing the same caregiving journey as you.
