Supporting the Community

Together, let’s join Jesus in sharing His love and hope in practical ways in Calgary! Whether you need help or want to help others in the following ways, we’d love to hear from you:

  • School Partnerships: Join us as we serve local schools in South Calgary through food support, providing school supplies, and in-class help.
  • Calgary Food Bank Hampers: FAC Deerfoot is a referral agency and pick-up location for food hampers, with volunteers coming in weekly to sort and distribute food donations.
    • To receive a food hamper, please contact Pastor Michelle Peters for a referral. Pick-ups are at FAC Deerfoot in the Community Support Centre (bus route 302; stop #2657 SB 40 Street @ 122 Ave; stop #2656 NB 40 Street @ 122 Ave.):
      • Mondays, 4:30-6:30 pm
      • Saturdays, 9:30-11:00 am
  • English Conversation Group: Be part of the team who offers conversational English support and friendship with newcomers to Canada! Fall class begins September 22 at FAC Deerfoot.
