Serving the community together
Through volunteer teams and different partnerships in Calgary, we’re sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways with the goal of making a long-term difference in the community. If you’re in need, we want to support you! Here are a few ways we support single moms, seniors, widows, new immigrants and refugees, and those in financial need:
- School Partnerships: Serving local schools through food support, providing school supplies, and in-classroom help.
- Calgary Food Bank hampers: FAC Deerfoot is a referral agency and pick-up location for food hampers. If you’re in need of a referral to receive a food hamper, please contact us. Pick-ups are on Mondays, 4:30-6:30 pm (12345 40 Street SE).

Oil Change Day
A few times a year FAC volunteers provide free oil changes and basic vehicle care for those who are financially struggling in the community. Let us know if you’d like to get involved! You can help by connecting with those being served, or practically by using your mechanic skills.
The next Oil Change Day is Saturday, April 19. Sign up here to ask for vehicle service.
We’ll take your empty bottles!
Donate your bottles to support the ministry of FAC in the community. Free pickup is available!
