Alliance Assembly: Evening Sessions
First Alliance Church is part of The Alliance Canada, a family of over 400 churches across the country. Every 2 years, we gather for Assembly: a time for pastors and delegates to connect, discern, and come together in worship and prayer. FAC family, we’re hosting Alliance Assembly 2026 at FAC Deerfoot, June 8-12!
Evening Sessions are FREE and open to the public, bringing the wider Alliance family together for worship, teaching, and mission-focused encouragement. No need to register! Learn more.
We’re also still looking for some help with the Harvest Kitchen crew. Sign up at your campus Information Desk to let us know how you'd like to serve!

The best way to get connected at FAC is to get involved! Here are a few opportunities right now to be part of the life of FAC:
DiscoveryLand Summer Team: Summer is a great time to see what it’s like to build into kids at FAC! Chat with any DiscoveryLand staff person to pick your preferred age group, and the weekend(s) you can help out this July and August. You'll always be paired with a trained classroom leader!
Special Events: Stampede events at FAC are coming up, and that means helping hands will be needed! Be part of event set-up/decorating, take-down, food preparation, and more. Contact Heather Laubenstein (Deerfoot Campus) or Pastor Carter Reimer (Southwest Campus).

"What if God is real?" Erin's Story
I sat in my house holding the Bible I had picked up from church. I had never opened one before. I didn’t know where to start. One of my friends had told me that when she reads the Bible, she talks to God and asks Him to show her what she needs to see. So, feeling skeptical and awkward, I said, “Alright God, if You’re real and this is a thing, let me know. Show me something in this Bible.”
Erin shares how God met her even in her disbelief, showing up in a deeply personal way that she was seen, known, and loved in the most difficult season of her life.
