Welcome to FAC (First Alliance Church)! To translate the website into your preferred language, look for the drop-down option in the main menu. Here are this week’s announcements:
This Weekend: We wake up, start our day, and almost instantly our thoughts, our words, and our actions are all about us: our wants, our needs, our interests, our problems. Want to know how to overcome the “me monster”? It might be easier than you think if Jesus leads the way.
Scripture: Mark 9:33-37

Child Dedication
Dedicating your child to the Lord is a meaningful first step in their journey towards Jesus. It’s also an opportunity for us as a church community to come alongside parents as you commit to helping your child know, love, and serve Jesus, and to trust Him with their care. Child Dedications are happening NEXT WEEKEND (October 10/11) across all FAC Campuses. If you have a child you'd like dedicated, please register before Tuesday, October 6.
All Helping
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve one another, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10-11)
It takes all of us leaning in together, using the time, talents, and passions we have, to be a vibrant, healthy church that is all helping! Whether you love serving kids, youth, adults, working with your hands behind the scenes, or using your creative skills, there are so many ways you can be involved at FAC.
Campus Prayer Nights
Praying together as campuses is a once-a-month rhythm for us as a church, the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Join us for our next FAC Prayer Night on November 11:
FAC Deerfoot: 7:00 pm, Harvest Rooms CDE
FAC Southwest: 7:00 pm, SW Ministry Centre
FAC Online: 12:00 pm, Facebook LIVE
FAC em Português - 19:00, Sala Harvest AB
FAC en Español - 7:00 pm, Centro de Oración
Need to Know
What Could All Helping Look Like for You?
"Here at FAC, one of our core values is All Helping. We believe Jesus brings renewal to the broken places of our world through His people, meeting suffering, injustice, fear and other forms of brokenness as we lean in and help one another. When we help, we become part of what Jesus is doing."
While serving is something we are all called to, it can look very different from person to person. We asked Pastor Fernando Pedro and a couple of people from the Southwest Campus what helping looks like for them and why they love serving.
