Weekly News
Welcome to FAC (First Alliance Church)! To translate the website into your preferred language, look for the drop-down option in the main menu. Here are this week’s announcements:

January 3/4: What shapes your identity? When we lose sight of who we’re created to be, things like politics, race, online profiles, and even gender rush in to define us. When Jesus says, “I Am,” He offers a solid, life-giving truth. Each “I Am” declaration invites us to trust, follow, and find real life in Him. (Scripture: John 6:35-40)

Try Alpha
Going into this year with more questions than answers? Try Alpha, a series of interactive sessions on Thursday nights designed to offer a safe, welcoming space to explore the basics of the Christian faith with others who are exploring, too. No question is off limits, and it's free, starting January 29 at all FAC Campuses! Learn more and register.
Get Connected!
We want to help you experience meaningful community and friendships here at FAC that go beyond weekend services. Whether you’re new or have called FAC home for years, let's choose to do life together in 2026! Stop by your campus information desk to chat with someone who can help you get connected or explore ways to get connected here.
Week of Prayer + Fasting
It can be tempting to rush ahead as we begin 2026, but let's start by making space for God to speak. Our Week of Prayer & Fasting is January 12–15; an opportunity to slow down and practice hearing God’s voice as a church family.
January 14 is our next churchwide Prayer Night; a perfect midweek encouragement in your prayer and fasting journey! Watch for a Daily Prayer Guide, available online and in print at your campus Information Desk starting January 10. FAC family, let’s begin the year listening for what God wants to say to us.

Healing After Injustice & Faith Through Generations
"My mother told me once: 'I spent 40 years waiting for change… until I decided to seek God, and there I found the peace only Jesus gives. Even in our daily struggles, He is always with us.' Her faith shaped me long before I fully understood what God was doing," shares Agueli Laroche, a member of the Deerfoot Campus.
