How it Works
In partnership with Ambrose University, we offer one class per semester on Monday nights at FAC Deerfoot, open to undergrad students, graduate students, or anyone who wants to sit in. Whether you're pursuing a ministry degree or just hungry to grow, there's a seat for you!

Students Taking PT 501 for Credit:

To receive academic credit, must first apply to Ambrose through one of the following certificate pathways:

Seminary students: Graduate Certificate in Christian Studies

Undergraduate students: Certificate in Christian Discipleship

Applications can be submitted through ApplyAlberta.

Once your application has been submitted, Ambrose will assist you with registration in the appropriate PT 501 section. The application fee is waived for students applying through the First Alliance Hub pathway. Use the code SEP26.

Access/Audit Students (Not for Credit):

You do NOT need to register in advance if you want to participate in the PT 501 course this fall for personal enrichment and do not require academic credit.

Simply attend the first day of class (Monday, September 14). During the first 2 weeks of the course, Ambrose staff will assist Access/Audit students with registration on-site. The cost for Access (no credit) participation is only $100.

The $100 application fee will be waived by Ambrose for FAC students.

Tuition for Credit Students: The First Alliance Hub partnership includes a 50% tuition discount. The total per-course cost is:

FAC School of Ministry isn't just about classroom learning. You'll also receive mentorship and gain practical, hands-on ministry experience by serving 3-5 hours per week at First Alliance Church in an area you feel called to as part of your leadership development.

Personal Formation & Development (PT 501)
Mondays, 6:30-9:30 pm starting September 14.
Develop a "Rule of Life" that fits your personality, season of life, and unique situation. This course explores the nature and goal of spiritual formation and examines our rich inheritance of spiritual practices from Scripture and church history. You'll also undertake an intensive study of one Biblical or historical figure in light of your spiritual formation. (NOTE: To audit only, simply attend the first day of class for instructions and assistance on sign-up.)
