Looking for an indoor play place in SE Calgary? Located in the South Atrium at FAC Deerfoot, Discovery Park offers a fun indoor play structure for ages 3 (potty-trained) through Grade 4! Please read and go over the rules with your child before play.

Hours and Pricing

Tuesdays-Thursdays: 11:00 am-2:00 pm ($5)
Saturdays: 5:15-6:15 pm & 30 minutes after service (FREE), depending on volunteer availability.
Sundays: 30 minutes after services (FREE), depending on volunteer availability.
CLOSED December 24-26, December 29-January 1.

Christmas Special
Drop off the kids (Age 5-Grade 4) for a fun night of play, Christmas crafts, movies, and food ($25 per child):

December 12, 6:00-9:00 pm - Register
December 19, 6:00-9:00 pm - Register

*A $5 per child entry fee will be charged on weekdays to cover the cost of supervision (cash, credit & debit accepted). Entry remains FREE on weekends!

Birthday Party Bookings

Parties for up to 10 children (including the birthday child) include using the Play Place for 2 hours, your choice of hotdogs or pizza, drinks, a tablecloth, plates, and cutlery for $250. Any additional children are additional $25 each. Please submit your booking request well in advance:

Discovery Park Rules

Your child’s safety is our top priority. We provide onsite adult supervision, but we ask that you please read and explain the rules below to your child before they play.

Important Note

Children play at their own risk. While every effort is made to ensure safety, First Alliance Church is not responsible for injuries or lost items.

Health & Hygiene

If your child is showing cold or flu-like symptoms, please keep them out of the play area.
Shoes off, socks on. No bare feet or shoes allowed. Socks are available for purchase at the Bistro.

Age & Supervision

For children ages 3 and up (potty trained) through Grade 4 only.
Adults are not allowed in the play structure unless a rescue is needed.
Parents/guardians must remain in the South Atrium and accompany children to the washroom.

Safe Play Guidelines

No food, drinks, gum, toys, or electronic devices in the play area.
No pushing, hitting, or unsafe behavior.
On weekends, please limit playtime to 10 minutes so all children can participate.
Maximum of 35 children allowed at a time.
