In partnership with First Alliance Church, many talented artists have spent numerous hours lovingly painting, crafting, creating, and sewing beautiful creations of artwork. Symbolic themes include, sunflowers, Ukrainian colours, images of strength, challenges, and courage of the Ukrainian people. First Alliance is hosting this group of Calgary artists, some attenders of FAC, but many of whom have never met together before, but have come together in a united show of love and support, hoping to make a difference through their generously donated pieces of art in support of raising funds for Alliance Canada’s ministry to Ukrainian Refugees.
The online auction will be held on FAC’s Facebook page, opening on April 30 at 1:00 pm, and closing on May 8 at 1:00 pm. Art will be displayed at FAC’s Deerfoot, Southwest and Online Campuses for the duration of the auction. All proceeds of this auction will go directly to Alliance Canada supporting Ukrainian Refugees. Please note that FAC will not be providing any tax receipts for the purchases and donations made.
