Get Involved

First Alliance Church continues to serve our congregation and community. We are exploring innovative ideas and creative ways to continue serving by providing love, care and guidance to others, especially those who may be isolated, lonely, in fear, or in need.

FAC has partnered with the Youth Centres of Calgary throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to offer bagged lunches, after-school snacks, and staple items to kids and families in Calgary who face food insecurity. Throughout the summer on weekdays there are 6 communities in Southeast Calgary where we will have food sites. We still need drivers and site volunteers who are willing to bring food into Applewood, Ogden, and Penbrooke. As we build relationships, we are able to walk alongside people in their journey.

There are other hands-on opportunities such as delivering furniture to new immigrants and helping with clothing, backpack, and other drives.

We encourage you to share the love of Jesus by helping others.
